Compassion. Empowerment. Client Centered. LaBrae started her legal career working in-house at Fortune 100 and 500 companies focusing on business law. While she enjoyed supporting those companies and brokering the legal relationships between the large corporations and medium to small companies, she noticed many of the smaller companies did not have the legal leverage or support they needed to ensure they entered into equitable business relationships. From that experience grew her desire to help businesses of all sizes as well as creatives. As she began working with business owners and creatives to provide big business legal support to all, she quickly noticed many of her clients had built thriving brands, but lacked protection for their brands. She also saw the close connection between business law and intellectual property law and it quickly became apparent she needed to support her clients on both fronts in order to empower them to build, operate, and protect their businesses and brands with confidence.
McMillan-McCalla Law was born out of LaBrae’s passion for the law and passion for empowering people, which is what you will experience when working with her. Her mission is to empower her clients to operate their businesses and grow their brands with confidence.
